Since our founding as a U.S. generic pharmaceutical company in 1984, Watson has evolved to become one of today’s most respected specialty pharmaceutical companies. While Watson boasts a broad portfolio of generic products, we also are proud of our emerging position as a leading provider of brand pharmaceuticals focused on Urology and Women’s Health. And through our Eden Biodesign biopharmaceutical business, Watson has a stronger foundation than ever before to support our emerging role in biologics.

The approximately 6,000 members of Watson’s global team provide consumers in established and emerging markets with access to a product portfolio that includes more than 350 generic products. We have world-class pharmaceutical production facilities in the United States, Canada, Malta and Brazil, and industry-leading new product research and development in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia and during 2009 we invested nearly $200 million in expanding our pipeline of product applications in the U.S. and around the world.
