Watson is a leader in the development, manufacturing and sale of generic pharmaceutical products. Watson’s Global Generics portfolio is among the broadest in the industry. With more than 160 generic products in the U.S., Watson’s Global Generics business is focused on maintaining a leading position within the U.S. generics market, where it is ranked 3rd in terms of number of prescriptions dispensed annually. Outside the U.S., Watson markets generic products in key markets, including Canada, the U.K., France, Australia and various markets across Europe.

Our portfolio of generic products includes products we have developed internally, products we have licensed from third parties and products we distribute for third parties. Net revenues in our Global Generics segment accounted for $2.3 billion, or approximately 66% of our total net revenues in 2010.
